Steve Simonoff
With degrees from MIT and Harvard Business School,
Steve has extensive experience in both business and software development.
He has founded three other successful technology firms, including
Galactic Industries, developers of graphics and data processing software for
scientific instruments and
NMS Communications, pioneers in voice technology for personal computers.
Steve has been involved with a wide variety of software applications including:
Digital Photography, Geographic Mapping, Internet Client and Server Components,
3D and 2D Graphics Engines, HTML Interpreters, Scientific Plotting,
Array-Oriented Programming Language Interpreters, Real-Time Process Control of Instruments,
Relational Databases for Scientific Data,
Device Drivers, File-Format Converters, Real-Time OS Kernels,
Voice-Mail, Voice-Response, Scientific Algorithms (FFT, Curve Fitting, etc.),
Floating-Point Libraries, and DSP Array-Processor Microcode.
Susan White
Susan is an M.D. who spent years in delivering babies
and then additional years in Gynecology
helping women recover from having those babies.
She still lectures on those subjects,
but now devotes more time to photography (and photo software)
where, unlike Obstetrics, a lot more of the work is done in daylight.
